We went on the Maid of the Mist, a quintessential experience of the falls. Tristan was determined not to get wet at all, so she tied her plastic blue rain thing as tight as she could get it. (I had apparently gave up on trying to keep mine on.)
Later that night we went to dinner at Hard Rock, took a ride on the SkyWheel, and had fun browsing through shops. I was laughing so hard over the fun Katie had with the beaver hats. We could barely stop laughing long enough to take the picture.
The next day, we did the Journey Behind the Falls. It was really cool. It was kind of like the scene in The Last of the Mahicans, but with a fence and concrete tunnels.
Niagara Falls was so much fun, but so was the road trip part. JC Penney's in Syracuse, an insane stalker van driver, and Michael Bolton provided hours of stories and laughter. I am so blessed to have such great friends and opportunities to do such fun things in my life.
